Starting off the list, subscribers praised the true story A Confession for its gripping storyline and its cast for their convincing roles.

Fans rated it 9/10 before sharing their next suggestion – Toxic Town.

Rated as a whopping 10/10 limited series, its description reads: “When dozens of babies in Corby are born with abilities, their mother embarks on a battle to hold those responsible to account.”

With fans ranking it as a 8.5/10, Fool Me Once is said to be another must watch. Its description reads: “Maya is trying to come to terms with the murder of her husband. However, when Maya installs a nanny-cam to keep an eye on her daughter, she is shocked to see her husband in her house…”

Another user said: “I just finished Adolescence in one day. What a strong, sad and heartbreaking show that calls out the mental health dangers and challenges of social media in world wide society.”

Commenting on British drama’s in general, one user said: “I often wondered why British shows appear more authentic. Then I realized the actors come off as real folks. Often, no full makeup, realistic body types and not overdressed. Much more believable.”

In agreement, another added: “It’s true. British TV looks real. The people are just … people. They look just like your neighbour would look.”
