‘Easy to use’ air fryer that ‘cooks food perfectly’ now £36

Households yet to experience the wonders of an air fryer or are looking to replace their current one will be intrigued to hear that the compact Magic Bullet 2.5L Air Fryer is currently on sale. Shopping marketplace Yimbly (owned by the Daily Express parent company Reach Plc) is now offering a £30 discount on the kitchen appliance, bringing the price down from £69.99 to £39.99. The good news doesn’t end there, as for a limited time, shoppers can get an extra 10% off the air fryer when they enter the special discount code SPRING10 at the checkout, bringing the price down further to £35.99.

This makes Yimbly the cheapest place to buy the gadget, with it costing £39.99 when bought directly from Magic Bullet. The ‘easy to use’ air fryer has a quick-touch digital control panel with an LCD display, an adjustable 60-minute timer, and a temperature control ranging from 80 to 200 degrees Celsius. Magic Bullet says it’s ‘quick and easy’ to cook a variety of foods to ‘crispy perfection’, including chicken, fish, vegetables and even frozen food.

The 2.5L Air Fryer is ideal for smaller households and sits neatly on a kitchen counter. Not only are air fryers often quicker and cheaper than other cooking methods, but they are also healthier, as they require little to no oil.

Amazon is currently selling the slightly smaller Salter EK2817 2L Compact Air Fryer at a discounted price of £34.99, however the timer on this gadget only goes up to 30 minutes. For shoppers looking for a larger air fryer, the Ninja 3.8L Air Fryer costs £99.99 and offers four cooking functions; air fry, roast, dehydrate and reheat.

The Magic Bullet 2.5L Air Fryer has only received two reviews to date on the Yimbly website, with both customers rating it five stars. One delighted buyer simply wrote ‘excellent’, while the other commented: “One of the best things I have bought in years… It is easy to use, cooks perfectly and cleans up very easily.”

Over on the Magic Bullet website, the air fryer has received an overall rating of 4.6 from over 80 shoppers. One happy buyer said: “I really love this air fryer. It’s not very large, so it makes it very easy to store around the kitchen. The design is nice and sleek, so when it does have to be out and displayed, it looks nice. It is also very easy to use and comes with clear instructions.

“I cook for two here in my home, and the drawer is the perfect size for two people. Nothing takes very long in the air fryer, making it easier to cook for multiple people in batches. Everything comes out so evenly crispy.”

Unfortunately, one customer was unimpressed with the Magic Bullet 2.5L Air Fryer, as they explained: “I have had this air fryer for about a month and just about everything I make in it, no matter what temperature I cook at, comes out tasting like burnt plastic. Very disappointing.”

However, someone else was thrilled, as their five-star review reads: “Great little cooker for one person. I’ve used it for sea bass, salmon, chicken, steak, and potatoes. They have all cooked beautifully, saving me cooking time and energy costs compared to using the oven.

“I only have a small kitchen and was worried it would take up too much space – but it is quite compact and that hasn’t been a problem. Very easy to clean after use too – so a very satisfied customer.”
