Trinny London’s new £32 highlighter that gives ‘glowy’ skin

Trinny London has dropped a new makeup product that promises to deliver an instant glow. Miracle Halo is a multi-use complexion illuminator that works to lift and brighten the complexion.

Available in four shades – Starlight (soft light), Candlelight (gentle neutral pink), Sunlight (true honey gold) and Firelight (gentle neutral bronze), the product can be worn alone, under makeup, or mixed with moisturiser or foundation. Miracle Glow retails at £32 and beauty fans are loving that it gives their skin a ‘healthy’ appearance.

Founder Trinny Woodall called it a ‘phenomenal multitasker’ and explained: “I’m going to show you a few of the ways I use it. I’m going to take a little bit of Candlelight. You need so little and I’m going to start on the top point of my cheekbone. I’ve got a foundation underneath, I’m just bringing some light to my face. Just look now at that radiance, that will be there all day compared to slightly dull skin on the other side.

“The other way I use it, again, I take Candlelight and I will take BFF All Day. Now BFF All Day is a softly matte foundation but I like a gentle glow to my skin, so I will mix it with BFF All Day. I’m wearing shade Lucy and get a more glowy foundation.”

Elsewhere Charlotte Tilbury’s Beauty Light Wand is now on sale and shoppers can get two shades for the price of one. Colours to choose from include Pillow Talk Original, Pillow Talk Medium, Pinkgasm, and Pinkgasm Sunset, with the duo set now reduced from £60 to £30.

For those who aren’t keen on liquid formulas, Merit’s Highlighting Balm is perfect for those who prefer a dewy, balmy sheen with zero sparkle. The balm is packed with skincare ingredients like plant-based squalane to lock in hydration and vitamins, for a lit-from-within-glow.

Beauty fans have heaped praise on Trinny London’s Miracle Halo as one shopper said: “I wasn’t sure about adding it to my foundation but I can’t stop using it now. I’ve had so many compliments about my skin looking lovely.”

Another also shared their thoughts: “Gorgeous highlighter so easy to apply, doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and lasts all day on top of my foundation.” One shopper tried using Miracle Halo alone and with foundation and said she preferred the second method, penning: “It was much more natural and healthy and left my skin feeling and looking great.”

Our beauty writer Lauren Codling also got her hands on the new product and when trying it, she wasn’t too happy with the design. Lauren said: “The pump, unfortunately, is a bit of a menace. I was hoping for a controlled dose, but instead, one press dispensed way too much product – more than I’ll ever need in one go – which was a massive waste.

“I worried I was being too heavy-handed, so I tried again when I needed a subtle highlight to accentuate my cheekbones, but the same thing happened. It’s definitely a product where less is more, and the pump didn’t seem to have received the memo.”

Miracle Halo is described as lightweight, making it ideal for using during the warmer months. It’s available to buy on the Trinny London website.
