Arguably the finest film ever crafted by Hollywood visionary James Cameron is currently available for streaming – and it’s definitely not Avatar.
The blockbuster director is preparing for the launch of his latest entry in the ambitious sci-fi series, Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Among this year’s most eagerly awaited cinema releases, a fresh trailer for the third chapter is due to drop this week – but there’s a twist.
Viewers will only be able to witness the trailer by watching Marvel’s newest superhero spectacle, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, as it’s exclusively paired with the comic book adaptation.
Avatar devotees will undoubtedly flock to cinemas to glimpse Cameron’s upcoming Pandora expedition, though many would contend the otherworldly epic pales beside other works in his catalogue, reports the Mirror.
As he readies to unveil his latest creation across global screens, film lovers will be delighted to discover that one of his most cherished works, Titanic, can be watched on Disney+.
Regarded by countless critics as the filmmaker’s greatest achievement and among the most triumphant and legendary blockbusters ever made, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet feature in this heartbreaking epic chronicling the catastrophic destruction of the luxury vessel during its inaugural journey.
One five-star Google review enthused: “Titanic, directed by James Cameron, is not just a movie-it’s an emotional journey that leaves a lasting impact.
“With its breathtaking cinematography, unforgettable performances, and deeply moving storyline, it remains one of the greatest films of all time.”
Another viewer agreed: “The best movie of all time….!!!!! The best realistic, romantic and emotional story ever.
“We all know that it is truly a masterpiece created by none other than the Great James Cameron.
“It is heartbreaking and inspiring or rather encouraging at the same time. The performances of the actors are priceless..”
A third fan made a striking declaration: “This movie is hands down the best movie I have ever watched in my entire existence.”
Glowing reviews poured in on Letterboxd, where one Titanic devotee hailed it “an operatic spectacle, a romantic epic wrapped in James Cameron’s grandiose filmmaking.
“But above all, it’s a film that transcends the historical event itself to capture the heart of classic melodrama, where tragedy and love intertwine in an immortal narrative.”
Another reviewer lavished praise: “Cinema’s greatest Love Story. The Greatest Movie Ever Made. Which will probably never be topped in the history of Hollywood. It has everything cinema can offer.
“Based on a very real tragedy that it recreates tastefully and with excruciating details while still making us believe in a fairytale romance.
“Life and Love triumphing over Death in a way that only the movies can achieve so. Because yes, My Heart Will Always Go On and I’ll never let go.”
If Titanic doesn’t tickle your fancy, or you’re simply not up for a three-hour tearjerker, several of Cameron’s other films are accessible on Disney+, including the bloody 80s classic, Aliens.
