Dua Lipa has been dealt a blow as Raye has emerged as the new frontrunner to perform the James Bond theme song, according to William Hill. Raye is now a 6/4 favourite in the latest Bond odds, with former leader Dua Lipa, who has been the firm favourite over the last few years trailing closely at 5/2. Other contenders with single-figure odds include Chappell Roan (5/1), Lana Del Rey (6/1) and Lady Gaga (8/1).
Amongst the longer shots are past theme song performers Billie Eilish and Adele (both 20/1), whilst Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and Michael Buble represent the leading male artists in the wagering, also at 20/1. William Hill spokesman Lee Phelps told Express.co.uk: “After Denis Villeneuve was revealed as the director of James Bond 26, talk of who will sing the theme song has really begun to hot up. Following her blistering performance at Glastonbury, Raye is our new 6/4 favourite to do the honours, jumping ahead of Dua Lipa in the betting, who is now 5/2.
“The top five in the betting are all female artists, with Chappell Roan, Lana Del Rey and Lady Gaga all towards the top of the market.
“The most likely male options look to be one of Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles or Michael Buble, all of whom are 20/1 shots.”

Meanwhile, while James Bond loves his martini shaken not stirred, Dua Lipa has made it clear that she is a big fan of a Negroni cocktail.
She recently appeared in the video for Vogue on Instagram, where she answered a number of questions, while preparing a delicious meal and making a Negroni.
Describing it as “medicine” due to its strength, Dua was seen sipping the cocktail during the interview as she demonstrated just how quick and easy it is to make the glamorous drink.
The cocktail is also loved by Hollywood celebrities such as Mads Mikkelson, Stanley Tucci and even the late Audrey Hepburn.
With Dua Lipa giving it the gold stamp of approval, not to mention other celeb fans like Mads Mikkelson, Stanley Tucci and even Audrey Hepburn,
The recipe is simple and easy, as you simply need one part Campari, one part gin and one part Martini Rosso vermouth to make the drink. You also add one part Martini Riserva Speciale Bitter to give it an extra kick too.
You just need to pour the Campari, gin and sweet vermouth into a tumbler filled with ice, stir and garnish with a slice of fresh orange.
