Game of Thrones star unrecognisable in ‘best ever’ romcom | Films | Entertainment

Viewers can now enjoy a popular romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez for free, which also features a Game of Thrones star in an unrecognisable role.

The 2022 film Marry Me, an American Romantic Comedy Drama described by fans as “funny and charming”, is now available to stream on BBC iPlayer from today (July 11) at no cost.

The movie stars Jennifer Lopez as Kat Valdez, alongside Owen Wilson as Charlie Gilbert, Chloe Coleman as Lou Gilbert, and John Bradley, known for his role as Samwell Tarly in Game of Thrones, as Colin. Bradley’s appearance in the film is a departure from his character in the HBO series.

The story follows Kat Valdez, whose wedding plans are ruined after discovering her partner Bastian’s infidelity. In response, she decides to marry a stranger from the crowd, reports the Daily Record.

According to the BBC iPlayer synopsis: “Singer Kat Valdez (Jennifer Lopez) is about to marry her fellow superstar Bastian in a live broadcast in front of a global audience of millions when it turns out he has been unfaithful.Instead, she picks Charlie (Owen Wilson), a total stranger in the crowd, and marries him.”

The romantic comedy has received positive reviews from fans that continue to pour in. One person wrote: “Love it need 2nd one best so cool best movie ever love it makes me smile everything I could watch all day and night.”
