Theme park fury as mum skips queue because her ‘kids were tired’

A mum-of two has sparked fury after trying to push her way to the front of an theme park as her “children were tired.”

The incident took place over a bank holiday weekend, a time when many families take their children out for a fun day. It gained attention after a popular TikTok user with over 50,000 followers posted a one-minute video expressing her frustration and explaining why she refused to let a mum of two skip ahead in the line. The short clip has already received over 400 likes, asking her followers whether she was wrong to refuse her.

In the video, TikTok user @Lisa.Divass is seen expressing her frustration at the “entitlement”. Sharing to her 79,000 followers, Lisa said: ”I thought she was on her way to meet her partner in the queue’ but realised she was cutting through the line because waiting with kids is hard work, they’re really tired so we’re gonna cut through.”

Stunned by the response, Lisa politely told the mum: “We’ve been waiting a long time too, it wouldnt be fair and lots of other people have been waiting with kids.”

Lisa said queue-cutter responded: “I’m a single mum with these two all day on my own, at least you could do is let me cut through”

Opinions whether or not this was fair were split in the comments because ‘being a single mum of two hard work’.
