Everybody needs a comfy chair they can relax in while watching television, listening to the radio or reading a book. Shopping marketplace Yimbly (owned by the Daily Express parent company Reach Plc) is currently offering a huge £190 discount on a leather armchair that offers more than the average chair. The Artemis Home Northfield Riser Recliner Chair has integrated massage and heat functions, making it ideal for people with mobility issues or those who seek the ultimate relaxation experience.
The armchair comes in six stylish colours, ensuring shoppers can find the perfect shade to match their living room. Originally priced at £759.99, it can now be purchased for £569.99 for a limited time. This beats Debenhams’ current deal price of £649.99.
The Artemis armchair has dual motors, allowing the footrest and backrest to be operated independently and paused in the preferred position. It has massage points in the seat and lower and upper back, while the heated function is situated at the lower back.
The chair is made from a solid wooden frame and supports up to 130kg. It comes with a one-year guarantee and free delivery, plus Yimbly says the chair will be assembled in the room of choice by its two-man delivery team.
Amazon is selling a similar cream leather MCombo Riser and Recliner Armchair with massage and heat functions costing £499.90. For shoppers looking for a more budget-friendly armchair, The Range has a Caesar Manual Recliner Heat and Massage Chair priced at £349.99, however this option does not rise.
Several Yimbly shoppers have reviewed the Artemis armchair to date, with one rating it five stars and saying: “Very pleased and very comfortable. The heat and massage are brilliant. I really recommend it to anyone.”
“Very happy with this riser/recliner chair,” wrote another delighted buyer. “My husband says it’s very comfortable and it matches our other furniture perfectly. Two very nice people delivered and assembled it. We are in our 80s and didn’t have to do anything, so thank you.”
Unfortunately one customer was left unimpressed, as they explained: “Chair broke within a couple of days due to the motor being fitted incorrectly at manufacturing. I have requested a new chair and I am still waiting for a response to this.”
Yimbly replied, saying: “We are very sorry to read there was a malfunction with your chair. We can see there is an open incident and we hope to have this resolved as soon as possible.”
