Nivea’s ‘miracle’ anti-ageing serum ‘rewinds skin age in two weeks’

The anti-ageing skincare market overflows with countless creams and serums. Whilst greater variety offers benefits, it simultaneously makes selecting an effective product considerably more challenging.

Nevertheless, Nivea appears to have unlocked the formula for ‘youthful, plumped’ skin through its Cellular Epigenetics Age Rewind Face Serum, retailing at £34.99 for 30ml via Amazon and Boots. Developed following 15 years of scientific study, this serum features groundbreaking component Epicelline, an epigenetics science ingredient claimed to ‘rewind skin age in two weeks.’

The formula achieves this by ‘reactivating’ mature skin cells’ youthful functions via patented age technology, encouraging them to behave like their younger counterparts, resulting in a ‘100 percent proven more youthful appearance’, reports the Daily Record.

Additionally, it incorporates three varieties of hyaluronic acid for enhanced skin hydration, addressing 10 ageing indicators including wrinkles, firmness, radiance, moisture, elasticity and plumpness. This isn’t the sole scientifically-supported option available, as Boots No7 Future Renew Serum features the globe’s first peptide technology designed to ‘reverse’ ageing signs, with 50ml on sale for £43.15.

Another potent yet clinically-proven alternative is Medik8’s Crystal Retinal collection, starting from £45. Utilising the brand’s proprietary vitamin A derivative, it reportedly works ’11 times faster’ than conventional retinol.

Regarding the Nivea Epigenetics Serum, whilst it lacks reviews on Amazon, we’ve found two five-star ratings on the Boots website. One customer commented: “I very rarely leave a review but this is a miracle in a bottle. I am over 50 and have tried many many lotions and potions to help with ageing and over the years I’ve spent a lot.

“But this little bottle is amazing. I have literally used it 3 days so far and I can see a noticeable difference. This is now my new go to serum. Amazing.”

The second stated: “Absolutely love this product and the texture when applying it onto the skin. It is super lightweight and leaves my skin feeling plump and hydrated after the first use. I am excited to see further results as I continue to use the product.”

Whilst we haven’t discovered any negative feedback, it’s worth mentioning that, unlike numerous other Amazon items, it doesn’t qualify for next day delivery, with orders requiring several days to arrive.

On Trustpilot, several beauty lovers hold more divided views regarding the skincare brand overall. One customer who awarded a three-star rating encouraged the company to ‘revise’ its product range.

They continued: “They didn’t help me to moisturise my face even if it’s states that the cream is moisturising, lol. Nevertheless, I should pay homage to this company as it has a vast line of different products.”

However, some customers have left negative feedback for the company, citing ‘formula changes’ to their favourite products like the Nivea Crème and issues with customer service. Shoppers can buy the Nivea Cellular Epigenetics Age Rewind Face Serum (30ml) for £34.99 on Amazon now.
