Meghan Markle went for a bold look for the launch of this year’s Invictus Games. The wife of Prince Harry opted for a striking monochrome ensemble for the opening of the seventh games, ensuring all eyes were on her.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, kept warm in a cream wrap coat by Canadian brand Sentaler, paying homage to the games’ host county. The luxury label specialises in alpaca wool coats and accessories.
For the outing with her husband, Meghan chose the Maxi Trench Coat in ivory, which retails for £2,400. The double-breasted jacket has the classic trench silhouette, with military-inspired details on the shoulders and chest, and a belt that cinches in the waist. Ribbed detailing on the sleeves elevates the look.
Sentaler is a firm favourite for Meghan and she’s worn this coat on other public appearances, including while filming Suits in Toronto and then when she attended Christmas at Sandringham in 2017.
She also wore a midnight blue boucle coat from the brand at the 91st Field of Remembrance event at Westminster Abbey in 2019.
The brand was founded by fashion designer Bojana Sentaler in 2009 and it quickly garnered international attention. Princess Kate has been pictured wearing designs from the brand, as has Hollywood royalty Gigi Hadid.
