Jones Road grey eyebrow pencil is a ‘game changer’

An eyebrow pencil from makeup and beauty brand Jones Road has been described by shoppers as a “game changer” for creating naturally full-looking brows. The beauty brand, founded by Bobbi Brown, specialises in make-up that gives a barely there, casual look.

And as part of this, they have a range of eyebrow pencil colours beyond the typical blonde, brown, and black – most notably, the grey pencil. It also comes in dark brunette, brunette, light brunette, ash, and blonde. 

Last year, it became a sell-out product and has since earned a 4.7 out of five-star customer satisfaction rating, with multiple reviews praising the grey shade. “So appreciate having grey in the lineup,” wrote one customer. Another said: “Nice shade to complement my grey hair.” 

According to the brand, the pencil is designed to add dimension and fullness. They recommend using it in upward strokes and combining this with a brush spool for fluffy-looking brows. The pencil can also be used to fill in any thinning patches in your eyebrows. 

Shoppers have said the product is easy to use as part of a quick daily makeup routine. One review said: “The Grey Brow Pencil is AMAZING! For a 56-year-old woman with sparse eyebrows, this is easy to use and looks natural. I use this daily and refuse to leave the house without it on.”

A second added: “This is the absolute best grey brow pencil on the market. My brows are dark, but I have quite a few grey hairs coming in, and this pencil covers the grey with a realistic finish without making my brows look too dark or obvious.”

However, shoppers who opted for other shades complained that some of them appeared to have hints of grey too. One shopper who purchased the blonde eyebrow pencil said: “The only thing to look out for is that the dirty blonde has grey in it. I wasn’t aware of this and had to do an exchange.”
