‘Hotel quality’ summer duvet now cheapest price

The UK has been basking in warmer temperatures this week, which can be a blessing and a curse. Households that still have their autumn/winter duvets on their beds will be frantically looking for a lighter option.

Thankfully, shopping marketplace Yimbly (owned by the Daily Express parent company Reach Plc) is on hand to help by offering a summer duvet on sale, beating Amazon’s current price. The HOMESCAPES Goose Feather And Down 4.5 Tog Summer Duvet comes in four sizes; single, double, king and super king.

Each option varies in price, but they have all received a discount. Prices start at £37.04 for a single, and go up to £65.64 for a super king. Yimbly’s prices beat Amazon, with the online giant offering the same single duvet for £38.99, while the super king costs £68.99. Homescapes specialises in high quality filled products, with their duvets and pillows reportedly being used by leading hotel groups.

The White Company also sells a summer duvet that comes in single, double, king and super king, however these options are more expensive. The 4.5 Tog Ultimate Hypoallergenic Down-Like Duvet currently costs £59.50 for a single and £101.50 for a super king. 

Dunelm has a Dorma Full Forever 4.5 Tog Summer Duvet that’s currently on sale. The single has £10 off, now costing £40, while the super king size has a £16 discount, reduced to £64.

The HOMESCAPES Goose Feather And Down 4.5 Tog Summer Duvet currently doesn’t have any reviews on the Yimbly website. Over on Amazon, however, it has earned an overall rating of 4.6 from over 4,500 shoppers. 

One happy shopper wrote: “So good I actually bought a second one for my house in Spain. Hotel quality, the type that crinkles when you move. 4.5 tog was more than warm enough for me. No feathers poking out etc… Definitely recommend.”

Unfortunately one Amazon customer found the HOMESCAPES Summer Duvet to be too warm, as they explained: “Found the duvet to be of good quality, but I found it to be warmer than 4.5 tog. Will store it away for cooler nights.”

On the other hand, another five-star review reads: “This duvet nestles around you without being too heavy and feels comfortable.”
