Boots shoppers ‘avoid fillers’ for £30 lip plumper

Lip fillers have become increasingly popular among those looking to have plumper pouts, but they don’t come without risk. However, there are plenty of products that offer non-invasive lip plumping effects, for a fraction of the price of fillers and with temporary, albeit effective, results.

For example, there’s the RoC Derm Correexion Lip Volumizer with Hyaluronic Acid 10ml from Boots for £29.99, which promises lip plumping effects without the use of needles.

Another option is the Morphe Make It Big Lip Plumper – In The Clear for £12 from LookFantastic which is a nourishing lip plumper that creates a fuller appearace and smooths fine lines with a cooling sensation.

The RoC Derm lip volumizer has earned a high 4.3 out of five star-rating from Boots, however, from over 400 reviews. One person said: “I was so excited to try this product. I’m pleasantly surprised that there is no tingle effect, yet it does instantly make my lips look fuller, without the very common “gloss trick” to do so. It may be somewhat shiny, but it’s not glossy.”

Another wrote: “This is a wonderful glossy, hydrating balm. It feels like a balm but looks like a gloss. It even gives a bit of natural color. Minimally stinging. Soft and thick formula.”

“This by far beats out the competition when it comes to lip plumping go this route and avoid the fillers,” said another.

It wasn’t the one for everyone however and one shopper said: “I didn’t notice any difference to my lips using this product.”

Another said: “The texture and moisture from this lip plumper is great, but I didn’t notice much plumping – I’ve used other products that were much more noticeable. The applicator was nice and there was no scent to the product.”
