Summer is well underway and Boden is offering some fantastic deals. The popular high-street shop has reduced prices of nearly 700 dresses in its clearance sale, with one dress in particular proving a hit with shoppers.
The Ponte Puff Sleeve Tea Dress in the ‘Gallery Blue, Dahlia Garden’ pattern is flying off the shelves, and it’s easy to see why. Those who have already purchased this frock are asking for more colours and prints. Usually priced at £130, the Ponte Puff Sleeve Tea Dress is now available with a whopping 50% discount. This brings the cost of the dress, currently available in sizes four to 22 in both petite and regular lengths, down to £65.
Made from a ‘beautiful’ viscose blend that is said to ‘hang beautifully’, this tea dress offers a contemporary twist on a classic style. It features a flattering V-neckline that’s ‘not too low’, along with a slim design that gently skims the body’s natural curves and falls to mid-calf.
Meanwhile, White Stuff is offering up to 60% off hundreds of dresses, including the Iris Linen Notch Neck Midi Dress in coral, now available for £42, reduced from £85. Alternatively, the Rua Jersey Shirt Dress Midi is now retailed at £33, down from £65, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Over at Nobody’s Child, the Blue Tile Print Floral Starlight Midi Dress has been reduced to £60 from £99. Shoppers can also enjoy a 50% saving on the £89 Black Floral Check Joanna Midi Dress, now priced at £44.50.
At Boden, the Ponte Puff Sleeve Tea Dress boasts an impressive 4.6 out of five-star rating from delighted customers. One shopper praised: “Lovely tea dress. Exactly as the picture – size spot on and quick delivery.”
Another customer was thrilled, saying: “Fabulous dress. I absolutely love this dress and would buy it in other colours if they were available. Good quality fabric which hangs beautifully. Delighted with it.”
A different review pointed a negative, with the buyer explaining: “The colour and design and fit are lovely. The neckline isn’t too low and very flattering. The downside I wish the material was cotton as it’s a very heavy dress but that’s why is falls so flatteringly. Great buy..”
However, not all feedback was glowing; one shopper gave a three-star review, citing issues with craftsmanship: “I did not love the material, which was shiny and heavier weight than I expected. There is a vertical seam down the middle of the front of the dress, and the pattern was not lined up properly on either side of seam.”
Yet another customer expressed satisfaction with their Boden find, commenting: “I got so many compliments when I wore this – made my day. I bought a size 12P normally I would go for a 14P but it has a zip so fits perfectly.”
