People are loving a ‘genius’ travel hack that’s ‘so helpful’ for organising outfits when you’re on holiday. The ‘smart’ tip ‘saves so much time in the morning,’ according to impressed fans, who praised the idea when it was shared by TikTok user @tayfriesen.

In her video, Taylor Friesen explained she swore by the trick during a recent backpacking trip and loved the results. She explained: “I just spent a couple weeks backpacking in Europe and I have this travel tip that has saved me on all of my trips I’ve done up to five weeks.

“I just realised a lot of people actually don’t really know this, so I wanted to share it with you guys. Okay, this is my notes app with all of my outfits that I brought on my trip because when you’re packing in packing cubes, it’s kind of hard to picture what everything looks like, so I put on every single outfit beforehand, take a photo in the mirror, then I paste it into my notes app.”

Taylor continued: “This way I know exactly what bathing suits I’m bringing and kind of also how I style them, all of my bottoms, all of my tops, and then all of my dresses and sets. This way, in the morning when I am looking to plan my outfit, I can just go into my notes app and kind of go through those photos and decide what I’m looking for for that day.

“It helps me be able to not make an entire mess out of my room and throw every single piece of clothing that I brought out and then have to repack everything when we leave the next day.”

The style lover said she’s tried the tip on multiple trips and found it ‘super helpful.’ Taylor added: “This is something that I’ve been doing for a long time now.

“I did five weeks two summers ago in my backpack, and I did this exact same thing, and it was just so helpful. Another one you can do is take photos of the shoes you bring and the bags you bring.”

Her caption added: “This helps organise vacation outfits so easily.” The tip proved popular with comments, who loved the idea. One fan said: “Genius!!”
