Get £21 off mini Roberts radio with ‘good sound quality’

Shoppers can get their hands on a cute mini Roberts radio for less for a limited time. In a deal better than Amazon, we’ve found a retailer offering one of the cheapest price around.

New shopping marketplace Yimbly (which is owned by the Daily Express parent company Reach) offers the cheapest price around, as it cuts £20.99 off the price.  The Roberts Radio Rambler Mini usually retails for £79.99, however the marketplace is now offering it for £59 with free delivery.

This price is currently unbeatable, with Amazon selling the gadget for a slightly higher £59.95 at the time of writing, and if you’re not a Prime member, you will need to pay extra for delivery. Yimbly’s deal is proving popular, with the Roberts radio already selling out in a couple of colour options.

The stylish cream radio is still up for grabs, so be quick if you want to add it to your home for this bargain price.

The gadget has a classic retro 1970s rambler style which has been re-imagined in a ‘smaller, simpler, and rechargeable form’. The portable radio offers dab/dab+/fm radio, plus Bluetooth streaming, and there’s even a handy headphone socket.

You don’t need to worry about having a stock of batteries at home, as you plug in the included USB-C cable to charge it. Don’t be fooled by the compact size of the radio, as Roberts says it offers ‘impressive full-range sound’.

The Roberts Radio Rambler Mini comes with a two-year warranty when purchased on Yimbly. Only two customers have reviewed it on the shopping marketplace so far, with one impressed buyer awarding it five stars and saying: “Very good, just as advertised. Good sound reproduction. Good sound quality and very compact.”

Unfortunately, one shopper had an issue with their purchase, as they noted: “As the radio would not charge, I cannot review it.” However, a member of the Yimbly support team was quick to respond.

Over on Amazon, someone who bought the Roberts Radio Rambler Mini wrote: “This is a great radio with good sound, I was wary about buying it because it was plastic, however the quality is much better than it looks in the pictures and it has a premium feel to it. The sound is excellent when used as a radio and reception is clear even though we live in an area with not great reception.

“I like the fact that the volume control is rotary, and the battery life seems to be, as quoted, 8 – 10 hours. The touch and feel of the buttons feel like quality. Great radio again from Roberts.”

You can buy the Roberts Radio Rambler Mini from Yimbly here for the unbeatable price of £59. Alternatively, Debenhams is selling a Denver Portable DAB+ Digital Radio with Bluetooth for £49.95. The light brown radio can also be used to stream Spotify, Amazon Music or your favourite audio books.

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, Argos has the Bush FM/AM Portable Radio priced at 14.99. It offers up to 12 hours battery life, however unlike the other options, it cannot be used as a Bluetooth speaker.
