However, on Saturday onlookers spotted the dimaond and sapphire ring’s return – and it is a favourite in her jewellery collection.

Kate’s stack featured the blue piece along wit her first eternity ring from William, 43 after George’s birth and her new sapphire and diamond eternity ring by Cartier.

Taking to X, formally known as twitter, one user wrote: “I love that the Princess of Wales wore her engagement ring it stunning.”

“Princess Catherine is a our Queen at heart. She continues Diana’s legacy, and so sweet she is back wearing her ring,” added another.

While a third chimed in on designer frock writing, “Princess Catherine is a master of elegant dressing.”
