Lorraine fashion expert shares Roman picks for petite women

Lorraine’s television fashion guru Mark Heyes has graced screens with his sartorial guidance and this time ventured into high street retailer Roman, on a quest to aid petite shoppers in their search for “fabulous summer stripes”.

The 48-year-old stlylist curated a collection of six pieces, including dresses and tops with prices starting at £25. The petite range caters specifically to women 5ft3in and shorter and fans took to Instagram to praise his selections, with one commenting: “So good to see Petite being highlighted.”

Another follower remarked that “the first stripe dress looks versatile and versatile drees. Perfect for vacation.” The first item on Mark’s list is the Blue Petite Stripe Strappy Shirred Dress, priced at £42, reported Yorkshire Live.

He elaborated: “This dress is cut to perfection, love the smock detailing at the top, which we saw all over the catwalks but again, it’s also a classic so it will never go out of fashion. £42 for this one.”

Mark then moved on to showcase a stylish summer knit vest, commenting: “Sticking with stripes, we have this lovely summer knit vest, isn’t that gorgeous? I love the fact that it’s got metallic threads with little sequins in it. A great piece for summer.”

The perfect summer garment, this dress is ‘proper easy to wear’, boasting a no-crease fabric and a comfy stretch, ideal for those sunny getaways. “It’s proper easy to wear, it’s not going to crease. Great for summer holidays and it has a lovely stretch to it as well.”
