L’Oreal £32 anti-ageing serum shoppers buy ‘again and again’ now £15

Fans of L’Oreal’s Cell Renew Midnight Serum are rejoicing as the anti-ageing skincare product has been reduced at Amazon, now better than half-price. Currently £15.39 down from £31.99, the deal beats the price that consumers will find the same serum at Boots, where it is on sale for £26.25, and Superdrug, where it is still full price.

The top-rated serum is formulated to make skin look tighter, younger, brighter and more firm by morning. Users should apply a few drops of the serum every morning and night and the brand claim they should wake up to younger-looking skin.

Customers that have tried and tested the serum are confirming these promises, with one person noting it only took one week of use before they saw wrinkle-reducing results. Their review reads: “I’m over 40 and felt my skin was looking lacklustre so needed a boost. This serum is lovely and I felt I could see results in just 7 days. The results keep coming as every week I feel more of a glow and even complexion. I do feel some of my finer wrinkles have really smoothed. The serum has a lovely smooth texture and isn’t sticky or greasy. It dries in perfectly and feels so light on my face.”

Someone else found L’Oreal’s Midnight Serum to be very similar to another more expensive option, writing ‘really nice oil for your face your face feels really refreshed in morning when you put in on ar night sleep in it – a dupe for Estée Lauder night oil.’ The Estée Lauder alternative is on sale at LookFantastic for £54.95 down from £65 and despite being more expensive, users say it is great for ‘sensitive skin’.

Another Amazon customer sung praises for the L’Oreal serum, commenting: “I love everything about this product. It’s worth every penny. The texture, consistency, it absorbs beautifully and it’s effective. I have seen a significant improvement of my skin, even my boyfriend noticed! I’ve seen some reviews not happy with the pipette but I’ve had no problems at all. I love that it has salicylic acid, that’s heaven for me as a lady of a certain age, who’s started having breakouts, it’s fab. It’s a firm staple of my skincare regime. I love it.”

As they mentioned, others found the packaging for the serum to be challenging as it can waste product. One such person said: “My only qualm is the bottle. There is only 30mls of serum in the bottle, it is really annoying when you can’t get the last few mls out. I end up turning the bottle upside down and bashing it to try and remove the serum. I would hate to pay full price and waste some of the product. As I said I love the product but wish L’Oréal would change the bottle.”

Those that prefer a a pump applicator over a pipette might want to consider the Paula’s Choice Anti-ageing Antioxidant Serum. At £45 shoppers say it ‘blends into your skin like a dream’ and they ‘never let it run out’.

Another person was a fan of L’Oreal’s offering, sharing: “The L’Oreal Paris Midnight Serum Cell Renew is a staple in my skincare routine – I buy it again and again! I absolutely love the light, silky texture that absorbs beautifully into the skin without feeling greasy. The subtle, luxurious scent makes the experience even more enjoyable. Over time, I’ve noticed my skin looking smoother, more radiant, and well-hydrated. It feels like a high-end product at a much more affordable price.”
