Boots’ weekly beauty offer has returned and the retailer has dropped the prices of suncare essentials and hydration heroes to £10 for 24 hours only, just in time for those jetting off for holidays. With over 168 products on offer, one of them boasts a 4.5 global rating on Amazon and other retailers: the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler + Hyaluronic Acid SPF50 Day Cream.
The beauty buy is now 67% off and down to £10 at Boots. Shoppers can also find the same deal on Amazon but Boots customers can collect an additional 30 points along with their purchase, which can be redeemed as cash.
Formulated with three forms of highly concentrated hyaluronic acid – which is known for its exceptional hydrating properties – the cream mimics the effects of dermatological fillers to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and replump the look of the skin contours.
It is also enriched with Fibroxyl plant extract, known for its firming properties, and clinical studies revealed that in four hours, the skin “looks firmer by 14% and more toned by 25%”. In four weeks, the forehead wrinkles appear “reduced by 16% and crow’s feet by 11%”.
Over at LookFantastic, La Roche-Posay Anthelios Age Correct SPF50+ Sun Cream is ideal for mature and sensitive skin types, offering broad-spectrum UV protection, hyaluronic acid for a burst of moisture and PHE-resorcinol that boasts resurfacing properties for a brighter, smoother-looking complexion. It’s now on offer for £26.40 (was £33).
Amazon shoppers can also snap up a bargain face cream from Eucerin, their Sun Anti-Ageing Sun Cream for Face with Hyaluronic Acid SPF 50+ is currently reduced to £14.99 from £21.39. The fragrance-free fluid helps support the skin’s natural repair mechanism and shoppers say it works ‘great under makeup’ and ‘does not leave an oily shine’.
But the L’Oreal Revitalift SPF Day Cream has been praised by skincare buffs. One said: “It is lightweight and spreads well even with the spf 50 in it. My skin feels baby smooth and hydrated after.”
Another loved that it ‘does the job without breaking the bank’, and commented: “It feels thick but is smooth and doesn’t take long to soak in. My skin always feels hydrated afterwards. Great that it’s factor 50. I use it every day.”
Not everyone enjoyed using the cream as a shopper left a three-star review, adding: “Disappointing. Rather thick and does not do much for wrinkles.” A second echoed: “Can’t say I see any difference and it makes my skin quite itchy when I use it. I need something a bit more moisturising and gentle for my skin.”
