Ruth Langsford runs through 10-minute anti-ageing solution for dry skin

Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford knows a thing or two about skincare, despite having a busy morning routine to juggle between making tea, letting her dog out and getting ready.

She mentioned to her makeup artist how she managed to get everything done within 90 minutes and that might include a quick 10-minute skin indulgence. Posting on social media, the 65-year-old is seen using a Beauty Pie Triple Hyaluronic Hydra-Glow Sheet Mask while she is dressed in a white dressing gown. 

 Tying her hair up with a black headband and draping the sheet mask onto her face, she smiles at the camera and posts: “Hydrating!”

The made-in-Japan Beauty Pie sheet mask, priced at £34 for a pack of five, or £20 for members, is formulated with high-dose peptides, anti-ageing antioxidant, anti-glycation actives and an exclusive hydrolysed Triple Hyaluronic Acid elixir. Nine out of 10 Beauty Pie customers agreed their skin “appeared deeply moisturised and glowing” after four weeks of use. They also noticed their skin “looking healthy and instantly hydrated”. 

One shopper was thrilled to see immediate result and said: “Drenches skin in moisture and helped clear my dry patches.” A middle-aged shopper praised: “Really soaks into your skin and doesn’t fall off and skin felt so smooth after and my 11-year-old daughter loved it too. Lovely absorbing face mask.”

“I save for use before a night out or big event. Really gives you a salon feel like you’ve just had a facial. Plumps the skin and make up goes on far nicer after use, leaving you with a fresh and glowing look that lasts,” another shared and added: “Also love after using LED mask.”

As Beauty Pie advertise themselves as “good products without paying high price for advertisers”, some shoppers still find the Sheet Mask “overpriced”, with one detailing: “As soon as you put it on, it peels off, for the price of them you can definitely get something cheaper on the high street.”

Another complained it had a “poor fit” and it “did not cover the face properly”. At Boots, shoppers can find a range of Garnier sheet mask and this anti-fatigue Cryo Jelly mask is on offer at £3.33 or the Vitamin C sheet mask (£3.49) to brighten your complexion.
