Garden planter reduced by £32 ‘in a variety of colours’

Gardeners looking to add some new potted plants to their outdoor space won’t want to miss the fabulous £32 reduction on a ‘stylish’ square planter. Shopping marketplace Yimbly (owned by the Daily Express parent company Reach Plc) is currently offering the Tulipy Zinc Galvanised Square Planter on sale. It’s the stunning silver colourway that has received the largest discount, reduced from £90.99 to £64.99.

Yimbly says the weather-resistant planter offers ‘sleek durability and modern appeal’ that’s ‘perfect for showcasing plants indoors or outdoors’. Thanks to the cube pot’s minimalist design, it’s sure to complement any garden, decking or patio area.

The metallic silver colourway will make any flowers, plants or shrubs pop, reflecting the beautiful colours around the space. The robust Tulipy Zinc Galvanised Square Planter measures 40cmx40cmx40cm and is suitable for year-round use.

It’s crafted from galvanised aluzinc with a safeguarded finish, ensuring it won’t show any signs of rust. It includes a drainage hole and comes with a plug, so gardeners can manage water retention effectively, preventing the planter from getting waterlogged.

Amazon also sells a variety of planters, including the slightly larger IDEALIST 45cm Chelsea Box Planter. Available in grey and dark grey, this pot is UV and frost resistant, however, it comes with a heftier price tag of £111.99. Elsewhere, B&Q is currently offering the Verve Durdica Slate effect Plastic Plant Pot on sale. Reduced from £56 to £42, this slightly smaller planter boasts a ‘durable’ double-walled construction.

Yimbly sells the Tulipy Zinc Galvanised Square Planter in a variety of different colours and sizes, with each varying in price. There are currently no reviews for any of the square pots on the Yimbly website, however over at Woven Wood where the matte grey 40cm planter costs £59.99, it boasts a five-star rating.

One impressed buyer wrote: “Stylish. Love that you can get planters in a range of sizes so they match. Perfect for our terrace.” “We love these zinc planters,” commented another happy customer. “We now own six in a variety of designs and colours.”

Someone else added: “Absolutely perfect. As described. Great quality. Very happy.”

Not one person has a bad word to say about the Tulipy Zinc Galvanised Square Planter, however it’s worth noting that one Yimbly customer had an issue buying plants from the retailer. On Trustpilot, they explained: “Plant delivered, opened up and found leaves all shrivelled up. Doubt they will recover. Will not buy plants through them again.”

In contrast, another Trustpilot reviewer was satisfied with a planter they ordered from Yimbly, stating: “Excellent planter, just what we needed. This is the second one we have bought.”
