Le Creuset salt and pepper mills that ‘last a lifetime’ now £34 off

It’s no secret that homeware brand Le Creuset have earnt their name as having some of the most coveted kitchen goods on the market but, like most luxury items, their pieces don’t come cheap. 

If you’ve had your heart set on owning some Le Creuset goodies for yourself, we’ve spotted a way to save £34 off the Le Creuset Classic Salt and Pepper Mill Grinders in neutral shade Meringue. 

A pair of Le Creuset salt and pepper mills would usually set you back £82 for both, but you can nab a pair at Amazon for £47.98. Now almost half price, the deal is only around for a limited time so we wouldn’t delay snapping up this find. The exact same salt and pepper mills are still full price at John Lewis and on the Le Creuset website.

The Amazon deal makes the Le Creuset set cheaper than the Joseph Joseph Salt and Pepper Mill Set, retailing for £50 at Marks and Spencer. However, for a budget-friendly alternative, you can get a set of two Cole & Mason Sandown Salt and Pepper Mills at Dunelm for £35.

Discounted by 41%, the Le Creuset Salt and Pepper Mills are still an investment, however fans of the brand confirm they are ‘worth the money’ as they ‘will last a lifetime’, especially as a kitchen item that is likely used every day. 

Customers say the ‘grind is miles above the small plastic or glass ones you can get’ and ‘if you don’t have a proper grinder just buy one and never look back’. 

One shopper was persuaded to get the mills by their partner and was very pleased with the outcome. They wrote: “I was encouraged to buy this by my wife. So glad I did. It works really well and looks good on the table. It has a solid feel but is not unduly heavy. The grind is slightly on the coarse side which I prefer. The grinder mechanism can be dismantled if it gets clogged. Many cheap pepper mills are fixed. All in all, pleased with the purchase and glad I was persuaded.”

Another person noted that ‘every home should have it’, going on to add: “A lovely addition to my dining table. Every kitchen should have a pair of these condiment mills that work as well as they look.”
